Dinner with Wada-sensei

Wada-sensei invited us to her home this evening to bid farewell to the HPAC members of our shodo class that are completing their final year.  She made an incredible dinner and picked us up at the station, driving upwards through winding hills to arrive at her home in Takarazuka.  It was an evening that happily wore later than expected, filled with conversation about music , about Japanese and learning languages, about marathon running.  Half-past midnight we finally left, driven back down the hill.  She and her husband so kindly opened their home.  I'm the last one remaining in the class from the HPAC members.  With gratitude for her kindness and generosity, we'll see where we go from here.
